Mutra PhD School
The MuTra PhD School 2007 in Vienna will once again provide an opportunity for a group of senior Ph.D. students
to discuss and explore their research with a panel of established researchers in the fields of translation and
interpreting.
As usual, the MuTra PhD School in Vienna will be held as a workshop on 29 April 2007, immediately before the start
of the Marie Curie Euroconference on LSP Translation Scenarios. The MuTra PhD School, which is independent from the
Euroconference, provides students an opportunity to develop and improve the skills necessary to effectively write
research papers by presenting their work and getting feedback from a panel of experienced researchers.
The cost for the MuTra PhD School is Euro 50,00. Students may register for the PhD School as a separate
event but are also invited to register for the Marie Curie Conference on LSP Translation Scenarios. Students
registering for both the PhD School and the Euroconference may participate in all workshops held during the conference
and may have a short paper discussing their research published in the volume of the conference proceedings.
Applications for scholarships, which will also cover the costs for the conference, are invited from eligible candidates.
